Phoenix Neighborhood Patrols
Several West Anthem, ANW members have taken the training to become a part of the Phoenix Neighborhood Patrols. Citizen partrols ( PNP) are volunteers who walk or drive an area on a regular basis to report incidents and problems to police and provide a visible presence that deters criminal activity. Phoenix Police Volunteers- Citizens Offering Police Support
Citizens Offering Police Support ( COPS) is volunteer force of the Phoenix Police Department. Volunteers plaly a vital role in the Phoenix city daily police operations by working together with sworn officers in almost all aspects of law enforcemnent. Volunteers can choose from a variety of assignments: Motorist Assist, Crisis Outreach, sorting and filing and many more assignments. Volunteers are placed in assignments based on their particular areas of interest, locatioln in the valley, skills and proficiencies, and availability. There are no special skills needed to volunteer with us, only a passion to give back to our police officers, our department, and Phoenix community.
